Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What size should I order?
The choice of size of beanbag depends on who will be using it and where it will be used. All our beanbags can be used either inside or outside and can be hung up out of the way using the eyelet, when not in use. Generally, the MOSA is used for sitting, whether it be for reading or gaming for example, whereas the MIDI and MAXX being traditional beanbag shape can be used in many different ways.
How do I clean the beanbag?
We recommend cleaning only the surface of the beanbag cover using a cloth and mild detergent. This should remove most stains. We do not recommend that you machine wash the beanbag cover nor have it dry cleaned.
Can the beanbag be used outside?
Yes, the MAXX, MIDI and MOSA beanbags can be used both inside and outside. The outer cover is made of a waterproof polyester fabric which is hard wearing and the seams are all double stitched for strength.
Can I leave my beanbag outside overnight?

While our outdoor beanbags are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it's generally not recommended to leave them outside overnight, especially for prolonged periods. Here are some reasons why:

Weather conditions: Exposure to rain, dew or frost can lead to moisture seeping into the beanbag, which might affect its longevity and comfort.

Temperature fluctuations: Extreme temperature changes can affect the materials, potentially leading to wear and tear over time.

Cleanliness: Leaving the beanbag outside can attract dirt, leaves and other outdoor debris, making it more challenging to maintain.

Wildlife: Outdoor beanbags might attract insects or small animals looking for a cozy spot.

To ensure the durability and cleanliness of Oxford Beanbags, it's best to bring them indoors or cover them up when not in use. If you need to leave them out for a night, make sure they are in a covered area and check the weather forecast to avoid ay surprises!

What are the beanbags filled with?
Our beanbags are filled with EPS beads which are Expanded Polystyrene Beads. These are supplied in a zipped inner liner and cannot escape the double layer of their own liner bag and the outer cover! There is also a strong Velcro fixing on the outer bag to protect the zip and provide extra security.
The beads themselves are fully tested for fire retardancy and meet the UK standards.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, our beanbags are all guaranteed against reasonable wear and tear for one year from the date of purchase.
This does not cover deliberate misuse of the product or intentional damage.
